Partnership
The partnership consists of a VET provider, an NGO (tourist businesses as members), a public authority and a consultancy company, all of them acting in the field of alternative tourism and rural areas, some of them members of LEADER Local Action Groups, with considerable experience in the project topic, as well as in implementation of international projects.
Infocenter EOOD (Bulgaria) is a licensed VET Centre keeping a wide network of qualified
vocational trainers of adults who are influencing the design, development, and quality of VET
systems throughout Bulgaria and Europe. Infocenter mission is to contribute to local
sustainable development by meeting local needs of training and facilitating the interaction
of groups to develop innovative approaches to development.
IRMA SL (Spain) is a SME dedicated to training activities and management of projects related
to rural development, natural heritage protection, and sustainable exploitation of
natural resources, as well as in cooperation actions with many social actors, entities,
enterprises and authorities related to the rural realm.
Latvian Country Tourism Association (Latvia) focuses on development of rural
tourism sector as a sustainable part of rural economy. This includes rural tourism product
development, marketing and promotion, provider training, exchange and integration of
experience through membership and networking activities with organizations across Europe.
The Association has developed the Latvian national eco-label for rural tourism accommodations.
Development Centre Litija (Slovenia) operates as a local development agency and
administrator of Central Slovenia Development Program. The organization acts as
a coordinator of the Central Slovenia Subregion and manages the LEADER Local Action Group.
